2024 SEL on the car lots for a long time...

The pre-2025 SEL comes standard with 4Motion and therefore the DSG transmission. I suspect that's a part of it, given that people seem to dislike the DSG. That, coupled with the fact that 2025 models are on lots is probably contributing to you seeing "a lot" of 2024 SELs on dealer lots. We have a 2023 SEL and like it quite a lot. No trouble this far and it's far more entertaining to drive than any of its competitors.
