Everything medical turn out ok? No hearing problems, digestive issues that sort of thing? He’s not in pain? I dunno I don’t want to be ‘that person’ but looking back at my eldest at the same age (& earlier), we knew something was wrong, we were so exhausted with his tantrums and lack of sleep we didn’t even contemplate a second child till he settled down at 4. It turned out he had undiagnosed adhd, he’s on medication now (he’s 7) but it took a long time to get there, we started the process around 3.5 from memory (hearing test, seeing an ENT surgeon, to eventually a paediatrician that specialises in neurodivergent children, speech therapist and occupational therapist). This was during Covid lockdowns so everything took forever, but it was well worth it, he’s a brilliant , smart kind boy! But reading your post gave me flashbacks of not wanting to set him off, not knowing or being unable to avoid it at times, the overall exhaustion etc. I just thought I’d mention it in case everything else is ruled out, hope it’s not taken negatively.

He doesn’t have disgestive issues or hearing problems - but this is definitely something I have been looking into … I think he may be a little neuro- spicy 🌶️ but where I am from they don’t test for ADHD or any other spectrum disorders until later when they are a bit older. I think the green flag for me though is that he is perfectly behaved at school and at his grandparents house. Like a total angel 😇… then he comes home and with me and his father is a complete wreck. I can’t help but take it personally (like it’s something we are doing wrong) Is it possible he could still be ADHD if it’s inconsistent behaviour ?
