Does this DSTTi card still work on a DSi XL?

I'm quite new to the game and still learning a lot. At the end of this run too many things were activating at once and this deck became really good, but it was difficult to follow why. Does anyone why? Does it have to do with the deck generating a lot of energy?

At some point during this run I kept getting a lot of block even though I constantly felt like I had far from enough block. I don't know how I generated enough block not to die to the final boss of Act 3. Can someone help me out figure out what I did right here? I'm trying to learn! :)

I purchased this card from, which said it is an ACE3DS card. I followed the guide and tried both YSMenu (R4i-SDHC version) and the Ace3DS+_R4iLS_Wood_R4_1.62 in the root of my SD card but they give the same error on my DSi XL (an error has occurred, please refer to the manual). What should I do?

Nintendo DSi XL gives an error, should I buy a different flashcart?
