how do we relationship?

ive just caught up with this series and i want to hear everyones thoughts about it (especially if you have info on future releases and the ending)

i saw that the final volume is supposed to come out spring 2025 and i cannot wait

the main thing i heard about this story going into it is that it was ‘mature’ in terms of its storytelling. that and that it has some painful moments.

oh boy

im someone who tends to get really emotionally affected by romances, especially yuri manga but this shook me more than i have ever been shaken before. i posted just yesterday asking people how they deal with these emotions because i was so distraught by the drama in this series.

ive given up series before because theyre too negative and wallow in their characters’ misfortune and sadness, but even though i felt way worse at points reading this series than other series which ive dropped, something about it kept sucking me in and i couldnt help but binge it even while it continued to hurt me.

after a while though when both leads were in seperate relationships it started to hirt less though, and i started to understand why this series had come to be labelled as mature.

i think the main thing is just that life goes on in this series. it doesnt feel like a fairy tale with a narrow focus or like a video game where the characters were fighting towards a final objective after which it all ends. it just felt real i guess, im not the best at describing it.

although im a bit apprehensive im really excited to see where the story goes from here. im rooting for them to get together from the bottom of my heart like i always have been but now i feel justified in doing so. i think theyve come to the point where theyve learned how to really be honest with eachother and they can make it work so i hope they do.

despite making me seriously upset, im completely in love with this series. my favourite thing about it is just how big the arc feels. ive been reading tons of yuri in the last few months but the way this series has shaped up is new for me.

the two leads really do have a connection from the start i think and its amazing how the author takes us through having them fuck their relationship up due to their immaturity and inability to be vulnerable, maintain a genuinely beautiful friendship, have separate relationships which teach them about themselves and show them even more how good they could be for eachother if they sort out their problems and now coming to the point of falling in love again (hopefully omg i will be so sad if they dont end up together).

before i started reading i saw others say that this manga ruined yuri for them because nothing else was as good or realistic. i hope this wont be the case for me and i dont think it will, but oh my god.

if they do end up together and its satisfying this will 100% be my favourite manga of all time. but even if the ending rips my heart out itll still be a ten.

huge ramble almost over. please give me your thoughts on this series if youve read it, i really want to share this with others. the main thing i wanted to get across was how even though ive read other long series in terms of chapters, none of them feel as massive in terms of an emotional arc. what do you all think? love
