Just finished exploring stormwind, now what expansion should I start?

Hey guys, so I just got to level 10 and explored storm wind and ready to set off, but I’m kinda lost on where to go. I’d prefer not to do dragonflight quite yet, since I know I’ll be pretty lost on the story, and I feel like the dragon mount is a little too powerful. Where’s a good starting point for me? I’d like a complete story and not just wandering around, is there an expansion I should start off on to get a good picture and still be able to level correctly? Through the latest expansions? Or just Jump into Dragonflight and make another character after hitting level 70? I’ve been looking all over the place and honestly it’s all just a little confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏
