Dating apps are shallow and superficial (yes, redundant). I signed up for a few for casual dating as I am lonely, just not ready for love, but damn. I can't tell how many folks are lying about their age or just how much more beautiful my wife was.

It's also frustrating that everybody wants long term relationships and I'm too honest to lie about my intentions. I'd sign up for AFF but I don't trust them with my credit card info.
