what are these little guys coming out of my caterpillar? (warning for maggotlike imagery)

so days ago i had found (what i am assuming to be) a silver-spotted tiger moth caterpillar outside and brought it in. i usually did this with other caterpillars i find but something amazing (or disturbing) happened, and it was a host for parasitoids!

im not really freaked out or anything because of what i know about bugs, but itd be neat if anyone could figure out what kind of parasitoid (me and my friend assume its a wasp of sorts) it is :]

id like to also mention that when i poked it the larvae were in some cottony.. thing. not sure how il describe it, but i think its notable!
