Burning oil/tire smell while test driving new 2024 Bronco
Went to a local Ford dealership with my wife so she could test drive a 2024 Bronco (Not the sport version). During the whole drive I could smell some kind of burning/oil/tire smell. When we arrived back at the dealership it was really pungent while it was idling in the lot.
When I brought it up to the salesperson he said it's probably just the oils/whatever burning off since it's new. There wasn't any smoke.
Was this guy bullshitting me? I'm worried about maintenance issues since I've read a lot on this subreddit and others that Ford vehicles can be shit for reliability.
