Marriage visitor visa approved
Hi guys,
After months of crawling this whole thread for visa advice in the Marriage Visitor category, mine got approved! Just want to say big thank you to those who have posted their experience in the past few years. It has been very helpful.
Oct 31 submitted application Nov 16 biometric Nov 29 approved
Here is what I submitted: Myself - full passport (current and old, show previous visa stamps) - evidence of employment: employer letter showing title and salary, contract, payslips - evidence of income, additional income, savings * I also added Excel sheet where I explained more in details about the inflow-outflow of my funds, where the constants are (e.g what day do i get salary, what day do i pay bills) - so it’s easier for them to read the bank statements
Spouse’s - passport and BRP - employment information: contract, payslips, bank statement - tenancy agreement - one more residency proof
Us - email exchange with register office - confirmation of notice appointment with register office - chat exchange with service providers (venue, photographer, caterer, etc.) - email exchange with service providers - contract with service providers - deposit/ invoice with service providers - wedding budgeting plan - photos of our relationship through the years - chat and letter of our relationship through the years - our signed personal letters to visa section (like a personal statement of sort)
We prepared a lot, and I submitted a lot. Some may not be read by them in the end but the most important thing I’ve learned through this thread is you need to be genuine and also show consistency. If there’s any part that you think others may have trouble understanding, have additional explanation.
Good luck out there lovebirds!
