Italy during August.
Looking for a bit of advice.
Been wanting to take my daughter (12) to Italy for a few years. Mostly to do Tuscany/Florence, Rome and Naples/Amalfi.
However, the only time I can manage to get away for 2 weeks with her is August.
I haven’t booked anything yet, and am concerned about the heat.
For those who did dead of summer, is it really that bad? Would you recommend trying to work around it by hitting pools and museums with A/C during afternoons? Or should I consider leaving Italy for another time and look elsewhere?
