Got a question about shaving (MtF)

I have a razor (it's a Phillips Norelco 3000 so you know what it looks like, since I can't add images), and I was curious on whether or not it would be fine to shave body hair as well, including down in that one area. Also, any tips for shaving would be nice as well. I'm fairly new to all of this stuff, so I came here to ask.
