I just finished reading KoA. My thoughts [TOG spoilers]

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. I cried so many times.

I loved ToD, more than Eos. I adore Yrene and Chaol, even if I don't think they were treated well enough in KoA.

Another couple I love is Elide and Lorchan, and even if I’m so happy about them being finally together, I’m a bit sad about them not living an immortal life like the others. I believed until the end that Elide had some sort of power. But nothing.

But the reason why I don’t accept KoA being the end of TOG is Dorian and Manon. Their story deserves a whole book. There’s much more left untold about them as a couple and as single characters. Like, is Dorian human? Or will he grow old while Manon stays young? I don’t believe in the theory of him being just human. Every time he questioned himself and others about what he was, he never got an actual answer. Also, what happened to Dorian’s mother and brother after KoA?

I think there are many things left untold and unexplained and TOG deserves at least another book. I’d like to know what happened to Maeve’s owl and who she was, where did Nox go, where are Orcus and Mantyx, and who truly killed Aelin’s parents and Elide’s mom. Maeve was about to reveal it but Aelin stopped her. I’m mad we never met Vaughan again. We never even learned about the nature of Lorcan’s power. A power he thought mated Maeve’s ones.

So, even if I loved this book, I’m a bit disappointed with the closure of it and the entire series.
