Ok people, the votes are in and the "allow screenshots but ban direct Twitter links" option won!

Thanks to everyone who voted in the poll I set up yesterday.

Option 2 - "Allow Twitter / X screenshots, but no direct links" won easily, with 63% of the vote! Link to Poll is here

Going forward, we as a mod team will remove any comments or posts which provide links to Twitter / X directly. Only screenshots will be allowed.

For video content, please try to find alternative sources like news websites, YouTube or Instagram to share. Alternatively as a last resort, if the relevant video is not available anywhere except Twitter, you can extract the video from there and post that here instead.

Please refer to Rule 7, which has been added to the Subreddit Rules.

Repeated violations of this may result in temporary bans. To other users, feel free to report violations when you see them.
