Folks, should we ban the sharing of Twitter / X links here in future?
Logging onto Reddit this morning, I have noticed a trend of several subreddits starting to ban the direct posting of Twitter / X links. Completely understandable in the light of Musk's Nazi salute, edgelord trolling and basically turning Twitter into a hate / far-right extremist platform.
I understand that the Bulwark is still on there, including almost all of our favourite commentators barring JVL!
As a happy medium or alternative, we can allow screenshots from X but not direct links. As that still reduces traffic to the deplorable platform.
What do you guys reckon? Chime in with comments. Please participate in the poll as well; I will keep it open for 2-3 days.
Whatever the majority of you guys decide, we as mods will follow :) It will be a community based decision.
