Why the Biden hate?

This post is motivated by Charlie's seeming disgust with Joe Biden on his podcast as well as Tom Nichols' remark that the No Labels campaign is basically trying to appeal to people who want Trump back but do not want to actually vote or campaign for Trump.

There are legit concerns about Biden's age, his VP, his electability, etc.

Also Biden's a liberal and has governed as one, so people who are conservative would not be expected to approve of his politics.

That all being said, he took office at a very difficult time, handled a couple of crises (Covid and Ukrane) well, has produced a lot of meaningful bipartisan legislation - including averting a deft default hostage crisis foisted on him by crazy House Republicans.

As a liberal, I didn't like George HW Bush's politics, but he was an effective POTUS in many ways and absolutely not any sort of threat to the country. I don't see how anyone can view Biden as worse than HW, who, politics differences aside, was a good President.

Yet many seem to, even a few NTers.

I don't get it.
