Considering a Crosstrek, is there's anything to watch for?

I currently have a 2010 Mercury Mariner, top of its line back then lol, but it's a Ford so I'm starting to notice transmission issues unfortunately. I think it'll be fine through the winter though as I just bought winter tires for it. Anyway I'm not really specific on the year or even trim of a Crosstrek just as long as it's within a reasonable price, however the decent priced ones have higher miles. Any common issues with them to watch for?
