Might as well ask here

I’ve been struggling with my audio and mic situation for a bit and figured if anything someone here might know something.

So I decided to dig out my arctis pro’s that stopped working a while back due to the chat mix dial I’m pretty sure.

As shown in the images I tried using that little doohickey (first image) to get my pc to recognize the mic and also send the headset audio.

However if I put it into the top of my pc (second image) it ‘only’ sends it audio, and if I plug it into the back of my pc (third image) I only get a mic output.

Are there any settings I can find to mess around and see if my pc will recognize both audio and mic?

Also I tried to just plug the headset in without the splitter cable but I was only getting audio and I need both audio and mic.
