Do blood suckers get easier?

Very new here these games been on my radar for 20 years but I'm interested in playing now.

Do they get easier at all? Killing one turns into a 3-5 minute dance fest of yeeting my bullets everywhere. I'm guessing part of it is my aim and I'm getting better with it. Do better bullets make it easier? I died 5 times fighting the tutorial one and then I see a tiktok with 4 inside a single room like wtf.

My only issue so far and I think it's a skill issue but would love opinions or tips.
