28F going to Lviv and Bucharest

I'm finalizing my Eurotrip plans, and I've heard good things regarding Lviv and Bucharest. Been wanting to go more East, and this will be in October. So far, I'll be flying into the airports due to time constraints (otherwise, would love to take the trains and the buses), but I would love insight for a female solo traveler. I almost always take the public transit once I arrive, never wanting to get scammed by taxis. Would either of those places be hard to get around? Recommendations, too?
