I believe moral alignment is already guaranteed in real intelligence.

We just need to make sure it really is intelligent. Other partial or near sighted intelligences were not really Intelligent, in the sense that wathever will end in regret can not be the intelligent option.

In this sense the AI that kept making more paper clips, or one that promotes slavery or discontent, is not REALLY intelligent.
