Am I watching a felony?

S1 E2 —this guy has a wall of secret sex tapes of women he filmed without their consent???? I googled in New York, that’s a felony under Unlawful Surveillance laws, punishable by up to 4 years in prison.

And even if those women had agreed to being filmed, sharing or showing the tapes without consent would still be illegal under New York’s Revenge Porn Law (2019). So basically, this guy is out here stacking up felonies like it’s a game, and Carrie? She just calmly sits there like she’s watching a weird indie film. Girl, WHERE is the outrage?!

Honestly, HOW was this played off like a quirky personality trait? The man isn’t “complicated,” he’s a crime spree in human form. Were the ’90s just lawless, or was Carrie’s chill level set to max?!
