Advice - is this job hopping?
Hey team - looking for advice as I’m a bit worried about the trajectory of my career and being perceived as a job hopper.
Career history - - 8 years at a FAANG multiple promotions etc and presidents club - moved to a top tier data & AI vendor, again did well and overachieved on quota, left after 18 months as I was shoulder tapped for a sales director role at a recently IPO’d AI company by a former mentor (big mistake lol) - now 18 months into new company, most of the people I joined with have either been pushed out or have left and things are not going well.
I’d like to leave but I’m concerned I’ve turned my CV into job hopper status. I could try hold on for another 6 months but every day sucks in this place.
I would appreciate the collective wisdom of the crowd - any tips or suggestions?
EDIT: thanks to this community, you folks rock.
