my current lineup

A bit of background: I only just started my rum journey earlier this year, and I only have limited space – I do have a few unopened bottles waiting in the cellar, but these are my currently „active“ bottles. So far I'm quite happy with the possibilities these 8 rums give me: one neat sipper each from Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana and St. Lucia, one versatile aged sipper/mixer, one unaged Agricole, one unaged/lightly aged mixer, and one dark navy-strength mixer. Due to limited space I'm not really looking to expand on this, but I will of course need (or want :) to replace the waning bottles... any suggestions?

I started out with Havana Club Selección de Maestros and El Dorado 15 – loved the Cuban, but after trying more and more rum, I had the feeling other countries would be more interesting, and replaced it with the Chairman's Reserve (which I absolutely adore – this one is pure column still, which is almost hard to believe though, so much flavour and character!) Not such a fan of ED15, too sweet and chocolatey for my taste. I do enjoy the general rich Demerara flavour profile though, it's just hard to find affordable options without additives. I prefer the Pusser's 15, but it's still not my ideal choice. I'm still struggling with Jamaica, high-ester funk bombs aren't really my thing. I was planning to get the regular WP Single Estate Reserve which I tried at a bar and loved, but then had the opportunity to buy this Port-Cask release, which has a kind of metallic side-taste to it that I'm not enjoying that much (luckily my wife loves this one though :)). In general I am very much drawn to anything Foursquare – alas, judging by the ECS prices, I'm not the only one...
