My 1971 Datejust is losing 30s/day. Can a watch of this age still be precise after servicing?
Hi guys, I recently bought a 1971 Datejust and I absolutely love it. I was told by the salesman that losing up to 15s/day would be acceptable for a watch of this age.
I’m currently losing about half a minute each day. The watch company offered me to service the watch. If I would have my watch serviced, should I expect it to running really precise? If not, that’s okay too, I’m just curious what I should expect.
