If evidence of god existed, would it become science?

I do not personally believe in the idea of god, but as a big fan of science, I also do not believe that god is "disproven". If somehow in the future, there could be a globally accepted piece of evidence that points out that there is an entity greater than us that closely resembles "God" in various religions, would it not simply become science and stop being religious? The idea that this "Entity" wants you to pray for it, and do certain rituals would still be religious, but the idea of a god could no longer be religious. What do you guys think?
