I need help accessing my former teachers thesis.

I live in Portland and my former teacher asked me to take a picture of his thesis and send it too him. However, I don’t think i can access the library as i am not a student. Is there anyone willing to escort me into the library so that I can fulfill my promise to my dear teacher.
