Why was everyone so mean to Hercule?

I mean, this dude helped them off the island!! Yet during the end mission they’re all yelling at him because he need’s their help to fight off the navy, THAT CAME FOR THEM!!! So yeah they’re angry at a nice man because he needs help to solve a problem that they caused.
