Amazing candidate turned down job offer and I just feel tired

After spending hours and hours of outreach, sourcing, researching etc. I found an awesome candidate for a role for one of my clients & put them forward. The candidate went to a few interviews - they loved the company and the company loved them. We did references, offered them the job, all was well.

Then the candidate suddenly turned down the job offer. This was totally unexpected and out of the blue.

Now I’m back to square one. So much time was wasted and now I need crunch to try to find another person.

I don’t blame the candidate, I’m sure they had their reasons to not take the job but maaannnn this sucks!!! It’s hard not to feel discouraged.
