Dental work quoted 11,000 with insurance

So I recently got dental insurance(united healthcare) through my job. This is my first time I've visited the dentist in 5 years. I expected that I'd need a lot of work but it was not good.

Basically I need 2 root canals, 2 crowns, and a deep clean. Before insurance they quoted 12,500-13,000. After insurance maximum, they are wanting 11,000 dollars. Does that sound right?

I did not agree to it and told them I'd be looking elsewhere. I don't want to set up a payment plan for 11,000 dollars. I made an appointment at another dental office but I fear it may be the same. For reference on cost, I live in Georgia, US, not in a metro city.

I had payment plans set up for when I had cleanings, extractions, and wisdom teeth extraction that was never over 2500 for all of that. I did not have insurance at the time. It all just seems really expensive.

What do yall think?
