Time to get skill checked by the E4 lmao

I’m a super casual Pokémon player who’s knowledge pretty much stops at gen 4 besides sword/shield I played through once. Couldn’t tell you what any competitive teams look like, all I saw was Ferrothorn was a pretty good setup so I use him and other Pokémon I think look cool lol. This game has me opening 20 google tabs at the same time to find out what the hell is happening at all times. What all the moves do, Pokémon stats, good held items, natures, move spread, etc. I’ve had a blast so far but I have a feeling I’m about to get a reality check 😂 any tips are appreciated!
