Kalos region unlocked Scarlet/Violet post game?

Just thinking that if the new games are set in Portugal/Spain, what if we got to travel to Kalos post game like we did in with Johto/Kanto in GSC/HGSS since France neighbors them irl? I think it would be a great way to bridge the entire European region together? If the game is truly open world, I’d love to return to Kalos again! This would also make it easier to obtain Gen 7 Pokémon since 3DS support is dwindling down. Just a thought!
