Help MSI Optix MAG27CQ Dual Monitor Issue – Screen Distortion When Both Are On

Hey everyone,

I’m having a weird issue with my MSI Optix MAG27CQ monitor when I’m trying to run a dual monitor setup. I’ve attached some photos showing what’s happening.

The Issue: • When both monitors are on, my MSI monitor displays distortion/artifacts (see photos). • After about 15 minutes, the issue usually resolves on its own, and both monitors work fine. • If I turn off the second monitor, the MSI monitor immediately fixes itself. • If I only use a single screen (either monitor), everything works perfectly with no issues.

What I’ve Tried: • Swapped cables (HDMI and DisplayPort) – Same issue regardless of the cable. • Tested each monitor individually – No issues when only one is active. • Different ports on GPU – No change.

Anyone Else Experienced This?

Has anyone else had this issue with MSI monitors or dual monitor setups? Any ideas on what could be causing this, or how to prevent it from happening every time I turn both monitors on?
