How can I find who build my house? 1904 craftsman with a Batchelder fireplace ( squuueeeeeee!!!!)

Supposedly one of the first houses in Altadena. Used to be a big ass home stead by the historic horse section. we’re Batchelder fireplaces expensive or was it like, the Kohler toilet of its time?
