Lost ring but location suddenly updated????

I lost my ring back in November. Thought I left it at the airport or airplane. Didn't realize I didn't have the location capability on, turned it on AFTER I realized I lost it at the beginning of December but never updated.

Must have died!

Gave up on looking for it. Then I randomly opened my oura app on NYE to look for some info when I see my location of my ring had updated 30 mins ago IN MY APT!!

And it has not updated since. I have tried the wundefind app. All third party apps. I've looked everywhere for it.

Is it possible the app glitched????
