Starting pay vs COL- WTH is going on in South Florida!

Okay new grad here currently looking for positions. Ideally I would like to get into an ED but what’s happening with the starting pay for RNs in South Florida? I mean the COL here is so terrible it’s gotten similar if not exactly to places like NY which pays nurses DOUBLE the starting pay in FL! I was working from home making the money some of these hospitals are offering this is Absurd!
