1.5 mo post Botox: flying and elevators

Took my first flight post-botox, I’m able to burp and doing great since Botox but woah, ascent, descent, and taking elevators to a higher floor in a hotel were weird! Normally I plug my nose and blow to pop my ears but it just kept pushing air for up and making a throat honk. It was so tempting to keep trying but, you know, super strange. It doesn’t do that on land (I tried once I was out of a pressurized environment and it is just a little burp)

I bet the strangers sharing elevators and a plane row with me were like “what’s this lady’s whole deal?” 😂
