gassy 5 week old

hello, sorry if this tag isn't appropriate, i wasn't sure which one fit the best. so in the last few days my son has had problems with gassiness. it seems no matter how much i burp him, he has painful/uncomfortable gas when i lay him down. and believe me i burp him for a long time. i will burp him and hold him upright for an hour, and still he only sleeps 2 hour tops because he wakes up with extreme gassiness and pushes out painful farts.. he sounds miserable and i'm hardly sleeping because of it. it definitely doesn't help that he absolutely chugs his bottles like he's never eaten before. seriously. i have slow flow nips on the bottles i use (tommee tippie) and yet he sucks so hard that he swallows a bunch of air. i feed him sitting upright with the bottle as level as possible (once it gets low i tilt it slowly so that he's not swallowing air), i burp him after every oz and i get a lot of good burps out of him, i only stop after 15 minutes of patting and adjusting his position with no burps. and yet, the last few days, he's still extremely gassy... what can i do to help him? i use similac advance. i don't want to have to switch formulas if i don't have to, but if all else fails i will. i just feel horrible for him and i'm also extra exhausted and therefore get overwhelmed and sometimes have to put him down, walk away for a few and get myself together. i do pretty good with little sleep but seriously i'm barely getting any at all and i can only survive so long 😭 i know it's not recommended but i have him in his carseat with it tilted back a bit right now just so i can get some rest, but i don't want to have him sleep in the carseat every time i need rest, i want him to be able to sleep peacefully and comfortably on his back...
