Sam Presti's first trade ever is the reason that OKC now has the core of SGA and JDub

It's crazy that I just realized OKC has SGA and JDub because of the first trade Sam Presti ever did as a GM in 2007 where he got rid off Rashard Lewis' contract for a 2nd rounder. Sam Presti is really an asset magician.

1st Trade:

Traded Rashard Lewis to the Orlando Magic for a 2009 2nd round draft pick (Emir Preldžić was later selected). Seattle also received a trade exception from Orlando.

2nd Trade:

Traded a 2009 2nd round draft pick (Emir Preldžić was later selected) to the Phoenix Suns for Kurt Thomas, a 2008 1st round draft pick (Serge Ibaka was later selected) and a 2010 1st round draft pick (Quincy Pondexter was later selected). Phoenix also received a trade exception from Seattle.

3rd Trade:

Traded Serge Ibaka to the Orlando Magic for Ersan İlyasova, Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis.

4th Trade:

Traded Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis to the Indiana Pacers for Paul George.

5th Trade:

Traded Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers for Danilo Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a 2021 1st round draft pick (Tre Mann was later selected), a 2022 1st round draft pick (Jalen Williams was later selected), a 2023 1st round draft pick (Jaime Jaquez Jr. was later selected), a 2024 1st round draft pick (Dillon Jones was later selected), a 2025 1st round draft pick, a 2025 1st round draft pick and a 2026 1st round draft pick. 2021 1st-rd pick is MIA own 2023 1st-rd pick was top-14 protected but eventually returned unprotected to MIA via trade conditional 2023 1st-rd pick is MIA own; amended to 2025 pick in later MIA-OKC trade 2025 1st-rd pick is right to swap with LAC.
