So you're saying there's a chance...

I'm 48 years old and I really really want to be excited for Sunday night and the playoffs BUT I have been there for the Falcons loss, the Seahawks missed fg, the Saints loss and too many more to dredge up. I have resigned to feeling like the boys may never get there and that hurts. Maybe this squad is going to be the one because they are playing with house money, stop gap qb in a rebuilding year with a dc that's probably not going to be back next year. I'm hoping for the best but the past makes me expect the worst and damn I wish that I didn't feel like this.
