will they ever fix the voice chat in this game?

i came from valorant where when you hold down the voice chat button it shows on the side of the screen whos holding it down and im not used to hearing people talking without it visually showing who it is or if they're even talking. my friend came from overwatch and says its pretty normal, but i just think its kinda frustrating because when i talk i have no idea if they can hear me and when my teammates talk i have no idea which one is talking
