How do you guys feel about strategist ults?
Because I will not lie to you all, that shits starting to piss me off, respectfully; you mfs have too much going on those.
I’m mainly talking about Luna and mantis’s ults, but a good few of the other ults aren’t slouches either.
Lunas ult makes her pretty much unkillable aside from heavy burst damage(usually another ultimate) so the source of that healing can almost never be stopped, and it goes on for 12 SECONDS, that takes forever and it turns fights around easily, on top of her being able to damage boost people in it as well.
Mantis’s ult does great healing overtime, grants movement boosts to everyone, if they full health they’ll be given 100 bonus health, and it lasts for 8 seconds. On top of all of that? She can still use the rest of her kit, mean she can heal the team even more, damage boost them, and stun enemies while in ult.
Even worse is that both of these seem to come back obscenely quick so generally they’ll always have it when it matters, and they’ll especially have it in that dreadful last endgame push.
One of these already feels bad to go against, but both back to back after one ends is soul crushing.
And to put a little whipped cream on the dessert of my pain, Cloak & daggers ultimate heals and damages in whatver unique pattern they want it to be, adding in the heal bubble makes the enemy team impossible to kill aside from heavy burst. And Loki can copy any of these characters and immediately do their ults. Even the less crazy ones like adams or rockets can still be game changers, and Jeff’s… He’s fine honestly aside from the jank hit box it has.
Maybe I’m just bad, but this shit can be really frustrating to deal with, at least as a lowly Peni/Groot main. I do my damndest to help me and my team make it out of the trenches, but in the end it all feels futile against these ults.
And yes, strategists. I understand you put up with a lot of shit, and I’m not mad at you or blaming you the players for how frustrated it makes me feel.
