How should I handle this boutique guitar builder?
Here's the situation I'm dealing with at the moment, would appreciate some help here. I received a custom made electric guitar from a Polish luthier in 2021. It developed severe warping on the fretboard from improper moisture treatment, with the specifics fully documented by my guitar technician. It needed a new neck made, which was finished December 2022, and I was provided photos showing it. It was never shipped out to me. The builder has awful communication skills, and it's tough to get a response. November 2023 he said the neck would be shipped, this July said the same thing after no contact, and now he's back to being fully unresponsive. I’m thinking of speaking with a consumer contract attorney to send a demand letter for the unshipped guitar neck, or for a full refund. Would this be a smart way to proceed?
