Exploring Kolkata Alone: The Introvert’s Dream (or Nightmare)
I often feel lonely and unsure of how to spend my time in Kolkata. While I enjoy my solitude, I’m craving something meaningful—whether it’s exploring the city on my own or finding ways to connect with myself and others.
I love photography (though I only have a phone), enjoy museums and galleries, and am drawn to peaceful places like cozy cafés or quiet parks. Recently, I’ve also developed an interest in pottery and would love to try it, as I feel it could be a great way to express creativity and find peace.
But I also miss having meaningful connections—whether it’s one or two people to share experiences with, like visiting museums or simply talking about art.
I’m hoping to find a balance—ways to enjoy my solo time and places in Kolkata where I can explore my interests, like pottery, while also meeting like-minded individuals. Any suggestions for a solo day or ideas for finding connections in the city? Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences.
