Can anyone help me out ?

I’m trying to land a new job in the luxury retail project management space. I have been working as an engineer and project manager for the last 4 years at a big company doing mostly public infrastructure work. I want to build something I’m actually interested in and I live in NYC where beautiful storefronts line the streets. I want to work directly for one of these retailers too and I see job listings all over LinkedIn. How do I land these jobs? Any advice or connections someone can help me out with? FYI I quit my job before getting a new one because I was so depressed and miserable and couldn’t go on any longer.
