Ironman and dragon slayer tasks?

Slayer masters give far too many dragon tasks with no way for a [noob-ish] ironman to get antifire potions. Am I missing something or are there any ways for an iron Man to get antifire potions before later herblore levels? I feel like it's not balanced.
