Experiences switching to Android?

Asking here since I know there will be a lot who tried and came back.

What is the current status?

Things in the past when I tried to switch:

- Android has all kinds of shitty things you should consider (high maintenance - virus scanner, defragging and stuff of space, apps that crash)

- I would miss apple drop

- IOS (IPhone) just works, where with Android, it felt like I had to spent days to get into things trying to resolve issues
