IPhone 15 PM getting hot and staying hot, been happening since updating to IOS 18

I noticed the past few days ill usually go on break and play Marvel Snap, phone will enter game mode, I’ll play a good 2-3 games and the phone will suddenly get hot to the touch and stay hot, I’ll force quit multiple apps and whatnot but it continues to stay hot and drain battery. Shutting the phone on and off remedies it but it’s still pretty annoying for a final product. Is anyone experiencing the same thing?
