Just a little over a year since inauguration and the modified WAP 5's for Amrit Bharat exp. is already out of use.
This is the Malda Town - SMVT amrit bharat, and for the last many months it's running with a regular WAP 5. Funnily enough, one can easily spot the Amrit Bharat modified WAP 5's sitting idle at Howrah Electric shed. I suspect the modified loco's are defective or cannot be operated for some reason? Either way it was too good to be true.
