My air purifier indicates bad air whenever my furnace turns on, should I be worried?

Like the title says my air purifier is showing bad air quality whenever the furnace turns on. I peeked in the vents and there doesn't seem to be any dust. I have a technician coming in a couple weeks, but I wonder if it's an indication of something dangerous.
