Help?

I am planning to get a hognose later next year and I am struggling trying to understand the lighting, heating, and all the temperature stuff? Even reading through many articles I still don't understand. Can someone explain it way better or help me understand what I'd need for a 40 gallon tank in said future? Even a tutorial video of setting up a hognose enclosure would be heavily appreciated.
